GFAR's engagement platform aims to foster a constructive, friendly, and informal collective experience focused on discussions, information exchange, and co-creation. To maintain this atmosphere, all members must adhere to the following Code of Conduct. Your participation signifies your agreement to these terms.
Contributions
- Content: Any contributions you make, whether text, images, videos, etc., should be free from offensive, hateful, unlawful, obscene, harassing, or threatening material. This includes statements concerning race, sexuality, religion, or any other topic that could be considered inappropriate.
- Integrity: Do not share defamatory, knowingly false information about individuals or entities, or confidential information belonging to third parties.
- Malicious Software: Do not upload or share any form of malicious software or content designed to undermine the platform or GFAR’s mission.
- Intellectual Property: Make sure your contributions do not plagiarize or violate copyright, confidentiality, privacy, or any other personal or proprietary rights. Always obtain explicit permission before posting copyrighted material.
Platform use
- Spamming: Avoid redundant posts, especially those intended for advertisement or commercial purposes.
- Topic Relevance: Contributions should remain pertinent to the platform's main focus—research and innovation for sustainable food systems.
- Identity: Use your real identity and organization affiliation when registering. Misrepresenting your identity or affiliation is strictly prohibited.
Interaction and Conduct
- Respect: Engage respectfully and cordially, even during disagreements, aiming for a constructive exchange of differing viewpoints.
- Privacy: Exercise caution when sharing personal information on the platform.
Moderation
- Removal: Moderators reserve the right to delete contributions that violate the Code of Conduct. Violators will be notified and explained the reason for the removal.
- Bans: Repeated offenses may result in a ban from the platform. Immediate bans may be issued for identity misrepresentation.
