The National Center for Applied Research on Rural Development (FOFIFA) promotes agricultural research in Madagascar and focuses on crop, livestock, forestry, postharvest, and socioeconomic research. FOFIFA provides research in order to create an in-depth understanding of issues with direct relevance to various stakeholders in rural development.
